Ok, so maybe not if you are doing laundry, cleaning the bathroom or just housework in general. However . . . stampin' with bleach is lots of fun! Enjoy this card using Seriously Sassy. If you are looking in your new Idea Book and Catalog you won't find it . . . it is currently on the Stampin' Up! Dormant list. That means that it is available just not in the current catalog. - Make a bleach stamp pad using 5 or 6 paper towels folded up and placed on plate. Pour liquid bleach over your "pad". You need enough bleach to make your "pad" soggy.
- Using the main flower from Embrace Life stamp it randomly all over a 5.25 x 4 piece of Bordering Blue Cardstock
- Set aside to dry or you can speed up the process by using your heat tool to dry the bleach. Be careful to not over do it and burn the paper. When your bleach stamping is dry the image will be bleached out.
- Follow up with the same image stamping with Basic Gray classic ink to fill in the blank spots on your background. I also used a blender pen and did a little watercoloring on the Basic Gray flowers. Only with some white gel pen highlights.
- Using a piece of Tafetta Ribbon, make a "fake bow" and layer the bleached background piece to an 8.5x5.5 piece of Basic Gray Cardstock that has been folded in 1/2 to 5.5 x 4.25.
- Stamp your saying in the lower corner.
- On a piece of 3.5 x 2.25 peice of Bordering Blue. Heat emboss the Seriously Image using Basic Black Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder.
- Layer "Seriously" piece to a 3.75 x 2.5 piece of Basic Gray
- Embellish with a small Pretties Kit Flower and Rhinestone Brad
- Layer with dimensional to rest of card!
VOILA! Don'tcha love this card? I do . . . it's fun and sassy but the colors have a classic look.
