Ok, so I know that is is the only pattern that I have used out this designer series paper pack yet! But I really LOVE the color combinations. As a matter of fact I really think this is going to push me to put together an inspiration notebook and put a swatch of this paper in it!
Tonights samples are a little 2-fer! I started out making the card on the left and got a little side tracked! I wanted something on the Basic Gray layer so I thought the skull from Just Jawing would look cool in the background, well it took on a whole new avenue with the card on the right! So enjoy my little 2-fer tonight!
Batty for You
Bad to the Bone Element is the following:
Just Jawing
- Base of the card is a 4.25x11 piece of Baisc Gray folded in 1/2 to 5.5 x 4.25
- Layer a 5.25 x4 piece of Kiwi Kiss stamped with the Canvas background stamp in Kiwi Kiss Classic Ink.
- Layer a scrap of 5.25x4 Ghostly Greetings DSP
- Just Jawing Skull Element is:
- Tangerine Tango - 3.5 x 3.25 with the edges roughed up with the cutter kit
- Layer a piece of 3.25 x 3 Basic Gray with the Skull Stamped with markers. Using the brush tip of the markers ink up the entire image except for the HEART EYES with Basic Black. Rough up the edges with the cutter kit.
- Fold a scrap of Kiwi Kiss ribbon in 1/2 and adhere to both layers with a couple of brads
- Punch 2 Small Stars out of Kiwi Kiss and cover the entire star with 2 way glue and dip into Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Place both stars as eyes on the skull using dimensionals.
- Layer on to card base
- Stamp YOU ROCK in Basic Black on a scrap of Whisper White, trim out and adhere to the front of the card.
