Ok so I really am going to get better about this. For those that know me you may know that I recently changed jobs. It has been a real adjustment period for me. For the past 4 years I have worked for The Arizona Republic as an Account Rep in the Advertising Department, while I loved what I did it was time for a change - So I jumped ship and took a leap of faith heading in a new direction. I am now an Account Rep for Ironwood LIthographers - a Consolidated Graphics Company. While both industries are related - my new adventures is like starting over! I am really loving it! Just getting adjusted. So as a shameless plug . . . anyone out there that is responsible for ordering printed marketing material for their work or business give me a call! Ok, enough of the day job - you are all here to see some stampin'! This past weekend I went to my friend Rhonda's Spring Fling we had a great time and I even had some out of town guests join me . . . so it was a great girls weekend! Not much sleep but a lot of fun!
Rhonda asked me to demo a pop card at the event and this is one of the cards that I made. This card is really easy to reproduce, no fancy measuring or scoring, right up my alley!
The inside mechanics are made from a 4x10.75 piece of card stock folded in half, open the cardstock back up, then use your Word Window Punch (Item # 105090 $15.95) and line up the word window punch centered up and down with the punched flush to the left edge of the paper and punch, repeat on the right side. Then just push the center section made by the punch up and out . . . that is what makes the pop up! Check out the front and inside of one of my cards.
