This past weekend I enjoyed Rhonda & Marlene's Spring Fling, we spent the entire day stampin and learning new techniques. The flower on this card is one of Marlene's demos and I couldn't wait to get home to create sample of my own. This is a card I made for a friend who is getting married next week. We are going out to lunch tomorrow for a little mini girl time.
The flower is made with the Big Shot #2 Daisy - cutting out 4 of each size then using a bone folder to curl up the petals. I then layered them and used a corduroy button to hold it all together. Although the background is not super visable in the picture is it made by brayering Chocolate Chip ink on to a texture plate, then running it through the big shot. By brayering the texture plate before running it through makes the texture pop even more.
Enjoy!
