I love the set Trendy Trees (Item #113258) however, I have not used it as much as I should! So I broke it out for last weeks Many Thanks 10-10-20 Class. This card was so easy and very cute!
Here are the simple instructions for this card
- Start with a piece of 4.25x11 piece of Soft Suede Cardstock and fold it in half to 4.25x5.5.
- Take a piece of the striped Thoroughly Modern DSP that is 4.25x2 and layer it on the front of the card.
- Tie Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon around card at the edge of the DSP.
- Stamp saying from Trendy Trees in Soft Suede in the lower left corner of the card.
- On a scrap of Whisper White stamp the top of the tree. Start by inking the tree leaves in Creamy Carmel and then use the brush tip of the Chocolate Chip and Bermuda Bay markers to "thump" color randomly on the trees. Then stamp and follow with the tree trunks stamped in Close to Cocoa.
- Punch using the Curly Label Punch. Punch a 2nd piece of the Curly Label with Chocolate Chip. Cut the Chocolate Chip punched piece in 1/2 and layer on the back of the Whisper White piece.
